Casa Pueblo created an SMS (text) system for multi-directional communication with residents to document their experiences and visions related to transforming energy systems. The SMS system has been a platform for direct communication between Casa Pueblo and residents of the region, enhancing grassroots participatory governance. Casa Pueblo amplifies residents’ experiences through a community newspaper and radio program. In addition to their project, Casa Pueblo also hosted the first Visionary Framework webinar on Energy Independence for Self-Determination.
