Zoë Baker (she/they) is an MS Public Policy and Data Analytics student at Carnegie Mellon University. She is passionate about leveraging mapping, data science, and other quantitative methods to inform policy and advocacy efforts related to urban spatial inequality and reparations. Raised in San Francisco, Zoë’s commitment to these issues was shaped by the stark disparities she observed commuting between a historically Black neighborhood and one of the city’s wealthiest. This summer, Zoë will work with the Equity Metrics team as the Racial Disparities Dashboard Fellow.
