On June 26, 2020, Director john a. powell joined in conversation with the Multnomah Bar Association. The discussion focused on the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 and the predicament of police brutality affecting communities of color. Director powell talked with attendees about using the framework of belonging to address these issues through public policy.
