On March 30, 2012, john a. powell gave a lecture at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, as the Scholar in Residence in the area of race and equity. powell presented on targeted universalism as a programmatic and communication strategy and emphasized the importance of expanding the circle of humanity.
