Vi Nguyen (she/hers) is an undergraduate research assistant at the Othering & Belonging Institute, where she supports projects aimed at advancing social justice and fostering belonging. Her work includes organizing internal knowledge to help inform strategic initiatives that bridge divides and expand belonging.
Vi is a senior at UC Berkeley, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Public Policy. Her academic and professional interests focus on the intersections of policy, law, equity, and community-building. Growing up in a low-income, predominantly Vietnamese immigrant community shaped her understanding of systemic inequities and inspired her commitment to advancing transformative change.
In her free time, Vi enjoys cooking, weightlifting, and watching movies.
