The Othering & Belonging Institute at UC Berkeley brings together researchers, organizers, stakeholders, communicators, and policymakers to identify and eliminate the barriers to an inclusive, just, and sustainable society in order to create transformative change.
Tatum Hurley is a Citations Assistant at the Othering & Belonging Institute. They are an undergrad at UC Berkeley studying Society & Environment and Ethnic Studies. In addition to her work with OBI, she is a Staff Associate with Cal Zero Waste, where she strives to improve campus sustainability and advocate for environmental justice. Her experience as a first-generation student informs her passion for making higher education more accessible and equitable for other marginalized students.
