The Center for African Studies and the Human Rights Center at UC Berkeley are pleased to sponsor an evening with human rights advocate Nicholas Opiyo. Nicholas is a constitutional and human rights lawyer. He recently led the successful legal challenge of Uganda's anti-homosexuality bill. As the founder of Chapter Four Uganda, a human rights advocacy organization, he provides legal support to human rights and pro-democracy activists.
