Americans are engrossed in a deep conversation about the impact of racism in our educational, judicial, social and economic spheres. In the movement for universal justice, Executive Director john a. powell discussed these issues with the community of Fairfax County in Virginia over a weekend residency with the Reston Community Center. His talks, "Racing to Justice: Achieving Social Equity in Faifax County" and "Social Equity and Local Government," were attended by over 300 members from sectors of goverment, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions.
