On April 3, 2021, Assistant Director Stephen Menendian presented on the relationship between fair housing and voting rights on a panel at a fair housing conference organized by the Fair Housing Council of San Diego. Stephen's presentation described the relationship racial residential segregation, political racial polarization, and racial gerrymandering using maps and new research from the Institute.
