The Haas Institute for a Fair & Inclusive Society welcomes you to a lecture titled "Engaging Diversity: More Important Than Ever," featuring Patricia Gurin, Ph.D., Nancy Cantor Distinguished University Professor Emerita of Psychology and Women’s Studies. This event will take place on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 12:30-2:00PM at 295 Boalt Hall- Warren Room.
In her lecture, Professor Gurin will present social science evidence on the educational benefit of diversity that has played a role in legal challenges to affirmative action. A book signing of her work, Dialogue Across Difference: Practice, Theory, and Research on Intergroup Dialogue will follow.
