On Monday, December 14, Executive Director john a. powell helped Communities Creating Opportunity (CCO) in developing an evaluation matrix for CCO community organizing and leadership development. john focused on recognizing how our inputs result in systemic change, which has a correlation to racial equity organizing. Over three days, john delivered three presentations: 1) An Opportunity Framework and Analysis for Economic and Social Mobility in the Kansas City Region; 2) Othering & Belonging: A Framework & Analysis for a Fair and Inclusive Society; and 3) Implicit Bias & Philanthropic Effectiveness.
