On November 12, 2016, professor john a. powell gave a presentation on the neuroscience behind the process of othering. This presentation was one of many throughout a two-day conference on the economics of race. Hosted by the Institute for New Technology and co-sponsored by the Haas Institute, Detroit's Tomorrow's and Tomorrow's Detroit was a unique, informative, and inspirational conference.
