Join us on Friday, May 6 at 4pm inside UC Berkeley's Sutardja Dai Hall to hear two incredible longtime organizers and thought leaders as they discuss polarization, democracy, and our current moment. Marshall Ganz, from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, was an organizer for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and joined Cesar Chavez in his effort to unionize California farmworkers. During 16 years with the United Farm Workers, he gained experience in union, political, and community organizing. Marshall will be in conversation with john a. powell, Director of Othering & Belonging Institute, about the question of social and political polarization. We hope to see you there!
