Christina L Vail (she/her) is a Research Associate with Blueprint for Belonging. Christina is a researcher, policy analyst, and former counselor fueled by community voice in social change.
Christina's prior work centered on promoting youth and young adult voices in policymaking, where she has engaged in district, state, and national initiatives. As former Senior Southern Policy Manager with Young Invincibles, Christina worked alongside advocates, state leaders, and organizations to champion projects in health care, workforce development, and higher education. Her research focused on equitable career development and the rising costs of college and student debt. Christina holds a B.A. in Political Science and Minor in Public Affairs from UCLA, an M.A. in Counselor Education from The Ohio State University, and an M.A. in Policy, Organizations, and Leadership from Stanford University.
Christina is an artist at heart. She loves to strum the guitar with her husband (who plays the drums) and write screenplays. Her 'claim to fame' is that she once performed a song from Frozen to welcome students in Kindergarten classes on their first day of school.
