Be part of the Belonging & Democracy in Action Poster Fair at the 2026 Othering & Belonging Conference Oct. 9-10 in Louisville, Kentucky! The Poster Fair will be a showcase of case studies featuring organizations, communities, movements, narratives, and other ideas that are advancing belonging through such principles as agency, participation, connection, and care; impact stories of working across difference through bridging; and models of democratic policies, practices, and movements across the globe. Posters will be prominently displayed throughout the conference venue and there will be dedicated time in the agenda for poster creators to talk about their posters with conference participants.
Submission Process

- If your poster abstract is accepted, you will be notified by July 1, 2026 (look for an email from obconf@berkeley.edu).
- Early submissions are highly encouraged—we will be reviewing abstracts and notifying of acceptance on a rolling basis.
- The Abstract Submission Form will close on May 31, 2026, or when our poster acceptance capacity has been reached, whichever happens first.
