Subhashish Panigrah is a long-time steward in the Openness movement.

About
He has led community program design, strategy and communications roles in many noted nonprofits including Wikimedia Foundation, Centre for Internet & Society, Mozilla, and Internet Society. As a National Geographic Explorer and filmmaker, he has produced several documentary films focusing on the protection of indigenous and endangered languages. Through the Yoti Digital Identity Fellowship, he researched the biometric ID landscape of India and created the documentary "MarginalizedAadhaar". An early social changemaker, he founded OpenSpeaks for audiovisual documentation of low-resource languages, and co-founded nonprofit O Foundation. Subhashish currently leads the Law for All Initiative at Ashoka.
