Sherry Pablo

Sherry Pablo (she/her/blind+) is a 2nd-year graduate student in the Master's in Public Health program in the department of Health Policy and Management and a research assistant to Director john a. powell.

About
She is a Kaiser Permanente Public Health Scholar and also serves as a Graduate Recruitment and Diversity Services (GRADS) ambassador, a peer-advising arm of the DREAM Office at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health to promote diversity within the student population and be a resource for prospective applicants. Prior to graduate school, Sherry managed and supported a team of AmeriCorps VISTAs in a statewide opioid safety program through the California Opioid Safety Network at the Public Health Institute in Oakland. She was also a health educator with La Clínica in the school-based health department at the REACH-Ashland youth center in San Leandro. Sherry is interested in healthcare administration, policy, and accessibility and is passionate about making healthcare equitable for people with disabilities.
