Zainab Ramahi is an Othering & Belonging Institute Coblentz fellow who is working on the "the rise of global ethno-nationalism" project with the Global Justice Program. Zainab recently graduated from UC Berkeley School of Law where she was actively engaged in a wide range of extra-curricular initiatives. Zainab has served as the equity and inclusion chair for the Coalition for Diversity, co-director of the Prisoner Advocacy network and co-Editor in Chief of the Berkeley Journal of Middle Eastern and Islamic Law. Zainab served on the student advisory board of the UC Berkeley Center for Race and Gender and is a coordinating member of Law Students for Justice in Palestine and the Berkeley Committee Against Torture. Zainab will be joining the chambers of Judge Richard Andrews in the District of Delaware for a one-year clerkship. Zainab hopes to use her advocacy skills and passion for justice to dismantle intertwined hierarchies of knowledge, power, and place, and to improve access to justice for all people.
