Winnie Zhuang is a first-year Master of Science (transportation engineering) and Master of City Planning (transportation planning and policy) student, joining the Othering and Belonging Institute as a graduate student research assistant on the Equity Metrics Program team.
Winnie grew up in Vancouver, BC, where she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in civil engineering. She obtained work experience in both the municipal and consulting engineering realms, prior to coming to UC Berkeley, working on the completion of planning and transportation studies for various public and private entities, traffic operations and road safety analyses, and traffic modeling. Outside of school, Winnie enjoys skiing, bouldering/climbing, backpacking, and baking.
