Rachelle Galloway-Popotas has led the development of some of the Othering & Belonging Institute’s flagship projects such as the Othering & Belonging Conference, multimedia journal, and its arts and cultural strategy. Rachelle was the inaugural director of communications for the Institute for six years where she helped build OBI's portfolio of publications, digital media, media relations, and public engagement to amplify the Institute's large body of research and frameworks, as well as establishing a communications infrastructure and staffing to support OBI's rapid growth. Rachelle has worked in the nonprofit communications field for over 20 years. She has bachelor degrees in political science and graphic design. Rachelle is a tribal member of the Caddo Nation.
