Jesse Foley-Tapia obtained his degree in English here at Cal in 2020 and is now earning his Masters in Journalism. He is set to graduate in 2023. As well as working for the Othering & Belonging Institute, Jesse is a Wellness Coordinator for the Underground Scholars Initiative. At USI Jesse advocates and is a voice for formerly incarcerated students here on campus. Jesse is passionate about community care and moving past current systems that we have in place. This summer Jesse is set to work for Jenni Monet at Indigenously.
