Danièle Fogel is the Teacher Fellowship Coordinator at the Othering & Belonging Institute. She works collaboratively to develop learning opportunities for K-12 teachers around issues central to the Institute's work. Danièle is also a doctoral candidate in the Graduate School of Education’s critical studies of race, class, and gender cluster, and her dissertation studies the Institute's partnership with teachers. Before beginning her doctoral program, Danièle worked for eight years as a high school English teacher in France, Cameroon, New York, and Oakland, and she was an instructional coach for teachers. She holds a master's degree in secondary English education from NYU, and a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College. Danièle was born and raised in the Bay Area.
