Rising Narratives for Radical Futures: How to Talk Across Difference for a Multiracial Democracy

The social movement left has a historic opportunity to define a future-oriented story that can build power at scale. Drawing on narrative power and audience research across abolition, climate, regenerative economy, internationalism, democracy, and care, this strategy workshop helps participants bridge the gap between a radical vision for the future and the divergent worldviews of everyday people. Attendees will identify audiences, analyze the narrative environments surrounding them, and begin drafting messages that make movement visions more relevant and legible without abandoning transformative goals.
