Chih-Wei Hsu is a GIS and Visualization Analyst at the Institute supporting local and statewide projects related to zoning, segregation and fair housing issues. His past research and public policy work have focused on access to energy services and transportation infrastructure. Chih-Wei came to the U.S. as a teen and the process of slowly learning the country’s past, present, and future led him to see belongingness as the crux of an inclusive and just society. Chih-Wei earned an MS in Energy, Technology and Policy from the Environmental Systems Program at Humboldt State University. He is currently based in Los Angeles. In his free time, you can find him on a bike, towing his dog Brownie around town in a trailer.
