Carlos Guadamuz-Bielma is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley, pursuing a degree in Business Administration through the Haas School of Business, with additional interests in rhetoric and public policy. He currently serves as a Student Development Assistant at the Othering & Belonging Institute, where he supports the Development team in advancing the Institute’s philanthropic initiatives and cultivating relationships with foundations and community partners.

Originally from Long Beach, California, Carlos is a first-generation college student whose experiences growing up in a low-income household and spending part of his childhood in foster care have shaped his commitment to educational equity and expanding opportunities for underserved communities. He previously worked with the Berkeley Public Schools Fund, where he helped evaluate the impact of grant funding on educational programs across Berkeley public schools. He also serves as the Data Management & Donor Analytics Lead at the Berkeley Student Cooperative, supporting fundraising efforts and donor engagement.

Carlos hopes to build a career at the intersection of philanthropy and education, with the long-term goal of establishing a high school that provides first-generation and low-income students with access to business education and early college opportunities. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, he enjoys writing, mentoring students, and finding meaningful ways to give back to the communities that have shaped him.
