VR MEETS SOCIAL JUSTICE.
COME EXPERIENCE THE CAPACITY OF CUTTING EDGE VIRTUAL REALITY TOOLS FOR HEALING AND CHANGE.
Set up like a fair in a beautiful outdoor garden setting, this vibrant fundraiser will showcase the capacity of virtual reality to deepen healing for social justice.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and virtual reality demonstrations begin promptly at 3:00 p.m.
The afternoon will feature:
Original virtual reality experiences co-developed by World Trust and Light Sail VR and MURSION (R)
Film clips, including an ongoing screening of World Trust's latest film "Healing Justice"
Expert speakers including Kamal Sinclair, Director, New Frontier, Sundance Institute and World Trust signature facilitators leading dialogue on the power of virtual reality for social justice
- An interactive reflective space called "The Curiosity Realm"
- Music and entertainment, by Hyp and the Embodiment Project
Community building and networking

Exciting initial research on virtual reality shows promise: these experiences can literally change the way we think and feel, while boosting activity in the brain that stimulates feelings of empathy.
Dr. Shakti Butler and World Trust are exploring how these tools can cultivate new ways of being that will transform beliefs and structures.
