A Benefit Concert for the East Oakland Black Culture Zone!
Beloved Oakland is a vehicle to bring the new and old Oakland residents together to teach about Oakland's social justice legacy and unite people around new social justice initiatives, especially the East Oakland Black Culture Zone--preserving people and neighborhoods in Oakland's last displacement frontier. We're using the power of cultural artists like Grammy Winner Fantastic Negrito, social justice heroes including Ron Dellums, and Oakland's history to inspire and motivate the new economy leaders to invest in East Oakland.
