Ayyan Zubair is an Othering & Belonging Institute Coblentz fellow studying the psychological impact of Islamophobia on Muslim-Americans. He is J.D. candidate at Berkeley Law, where he serves or has served as Co-President of the Muslim Student Association and the South Asian Student Association, Co-Director of the California Asylum Representation Project, Conference Editor for the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law, and Research Assistant for Professors john a. powell and Molly Van Houweling. Ayyan graduated from Stony Brook University in 2018 with a B.A. in Economics, where he served as President of Undergraduate Student Government.
