From Running Springs, California, Andrew Martin (he/him/his) is currently a J.D. candidate at Berkeley Law and a research assistant to Professor john a. powell. He received his B.A. in Political Science and Peace Studies, and later his Master's in Education, from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to law school, he was a social studies teacher at St. Mary's High School in Stockton, CA. Drew is passionate about local and state governments and their role in promoting justice and equity through consumer, land use, environmental, and transit policy. During law school, he has worked for Bay Area Rapid Transit, the Greenlining Institute, the East Bay Community Law Center, and the City of Stockton.
