Amanda Miller

Graduate Student Researcher

Amanda Miller is a member of the Berkeley Law Class of 2020. In addition to being a research assistant to john a. powell, she is a member and co-leader of the law school's Prisoner Advocacy Network, Community Restorative Justice organization, and the National Lawyer's Guild. Upon graduation, she will be providing direct legal services at the intersections of child welfare, immigration,  education, and other forms of state-sanctioned violence. She hopes to use her law degree to build power, reduce harm, and demystify and deprofessionalize the legal system.
